The humanitarian cell of Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan launched a project to distribute food baskets and provide emergency shelter supplies for internally displaced persons moving from the Al‑Turba area and Shamaytine District, Taiz Governorate, to Tur Al‑Baha District, Lahj Governorate, with support from the Joint Forces of the Arab Coalition. The initiative follows the directives of the Chief of Staff acting as the manager of Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan, Major General Abdulrahman Al‑Lahji, and is overseen directly by the Director General of Quwat Dira’ Al‑Watan, Muhi al‑Din al‑Mudrabi.
The project aims to alleviate the suffering of displaced families and support them amid the severe humanitarian conditions they face by providing essential food items and shelter supplies, thereby improving their situation and ensuring a minimum standard of dignified living.
This initiative reflects the humanitarian role undertaken by the humanitarian cell of Quwat Dira’ Al‑Watan, and the leadership’s commitment to assist affected families and stand by displaced persons, driven by national and humanitarian responsibility, embodying the values of solidarity and compassion, and strengthening the resilience of affected communities.
