A joint security operation conducted by the Giants Forces and Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan, under the command of Brigadier General Hamdi Shukri, carried out a large-scale raid in Al-Mudarabah and Al-Arah District, targeting a number of hideouts used by smugglers, human traffickers, and networks involved in the smuggling of African migrants.
The operation resulted in the destruction of several smuggling sites and the pursuit of wanted bandits in the Al-Mahawalah area of the district.
According to the campaign’s media spokesperson in Al-Subayhah, the operation forms part of ongoing efforts to dismantle smuggling networks in all their forms and apprehend wanted suspects. He also called on tribal leaders in the area to hand over wanted individuals to the security authorities.
During the operation, security forces seized a quantity of locally produced alcohol.
The operation involved several senior security commanders, including Majid Omar Saif, Commander of the 17th Giants Brigade; Majdi Manazil, Commander of the First Dira’ Al-Watan Brigade; Abdulkhaliq Al-Ka’luli, Commander of the Fourth Dira’ Al-Watan Brigade; Abdulrahman Mansour, Staff Officer of the First Dira’ Al-Watan Brigade; and Commander Sarur Al-Bukri.
