Under the directives of the General Commander of Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan, Major General Bassam Al-Mahdar, and under the supervision of Abyan Governor Dr. Mukhtar Al-Rubash, the Technical Department carried out a field operation to remove sand dunes from the international highway linking Aden and Abyan along the section extending from the Al-‘Ilm area to Zinjibar.
The operation aims to remove sand accumulations that posed a direct threat to the safety of travelers and disrupted traffic along one of the country’s most vital transport routes.
This initiative forms part of Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan’s ongoing efforts to support stability and improve public services in coordination with the local authorities, with the support of the Arab Coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
