Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan’s Second Brigade, operating under the Second Division, continues its security campaign aimed at preventing the carrying of unlicensed weapons and confiscating them throughout Wadi Hadhramout, including the city of Tarim. The campaign is being carried out under the directives of the Commander of the First Military Region, Major General Fahd Ba’mu’min, and is led by Major Fahmi Al-Murshidi.
The campaign leadership stated that military units remain deployed across various cities and districts of Wadi Hadhramout, where operations are underway to inspect non-compliant shops, apprehend individuals carrying weapons unlawfully, and confiscate unlicensed firearms. Violators are being referred to the relevant authorities for legal action.
The leadership emphasized that the campaign aims to strengthen security and stability, reinforce state authority, and protect citizens. It stressed that carrying weapons within cities and residential areas of Wadi Hadhramout is strictly prohibited and that the forces will deal firmly with anyone who violates the regulations.
Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan called on all citizens in Wadi Hadhramout to fully cooperate with the campaign and comply with the issued directives, contributing to the strengthening of security and the preservation of public order.
