Major General Abdulrahman Saleh Hassan Al-Lahji, Chief of Staff of Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan and Commander of the Fourth Infantry Brigade, met with His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, to discuss a number of national issues, current developments, and ongoing efforts to strengthen security and stability and support state institutions.
During the meeting, Major General Al-Lahji extended his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to His Excellency President Al-Alimi on the passing of former Yemeni President Field Marshal Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, praising his national service and the significant responsibilities he undertook during critical periods in Yemen’s history.
Major General Al-Lahji affirmed that the late president was among the country’s most prominent statesmen, dedicating his life to serving the nation, defending constitutional legitimacy, and preserving state institutions. He noted that President Hadi’s national legacy will remain deeply rooted in the memory of the Yemeni people.
For his part, His Excellency Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi expressed his appreciation for the visit and the sincere sentiments conveyed, affirming that the late president will remain a distinguished national figure in recognition of his efforts and sacrifices in service of the nation.
The meeting also underscored the importance of strengthening national unity and enhancing coordination in support of state institutions, while reinforcing security and stability in a manner that fulfills the aspirations of the Yemeni people and advances efforts to restore state authority.
