Sturdy Shield for a Secure Nation – Strategic Reserve Forces of the Republic of Yemen
Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan was established as a regular military force belonging to the state pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 18 of 2023 issued by His Excellency the President of the Supreme Command Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. These forces constitute a fundamental pillar for defending the homeland, safeguarding national achievements, and preserving stability and civil peace across the various governorates of the Republic.

A regular tactical military force formed at the highest levels of training and combat readiness, directly subordinate to the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces (President of the Presidential Leadership Council), and officially registered within the structure of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Yemen as a strategic regular reserve force.
Our national message
Safeguarding Yemen's national security and protecting the country's sovereignty and constitutional institutions, supporting and reinforcing the combat fronts against the Iranian‑backed Houthi coup militias, and securing the borders and vital outlets of the Yemeni state.

Building a modern regular army characterized by iron discipline, professionalism, neutrality, and absolute loyalty to God and then the nation, armed with knowledge and advanced military training to confront all security challenges and combat terrorism and sabotage.
🎙️ Media Center of the Nation Shield Forces
The Media Center of the Nation Shield Forces serves as the official spokesperson and primary media platform for conveying and broadcasting accurate, verified news regarding the forces, their various brigades, and their military and humanitarian interventions. The Center operates based on a modern media vision that keeps pace with developments in both digital and traditional media, contributing to heightened national awareness and countering misleading campaigns and hostile rumors by delivering a truthful military media message.
Media Center Director: Taha Ba-Awada
Taha Abdrabbo Ba-Awada possesses extensive experience in managing military media operations; he previously headed the media department of the Second Division and served as Director of the Media Center for the First Military Region.He leads the Center’s media operations, overseeing the formulation of its editorial direction, the development of communication strategies, the unification of its institutional messaging, and the management of media production to enhance its presence and impact. He also plays a pivotal role in improving media performance, upgrading coverage and documentation tools, and highlighting the forces' activities and their efforts—both in the field and at the institutional level—thereby helping to solidify their media identity and boost the effectiveness of their message in the digital space.
