Brigadier General Faisal Haider Al‑Zaidi, commander of the First Brigade of the Third Division, affirmed during his first meeting with the brigade’s personnel—following his assumption of command—that military discipline and combat readiness constitute the foundation of successful operations. He called on all officers and soldiers to adhere to these principles, work as a unified team, and raise the level of preparedness to execute duties efficiently.
Brigadier General Al‑Zaidi also praised the efforts of the former brigade commander, Brigadier General Saleh Al‑Mujidi, in establishing and building the brigade, emphasizing that unit cohesion and role integration will remain essential pillars for enhancing the brigade’s effectiveness. He expressed gratitude to the Third Division command and the Command of Quwat Dira’ Al‑Watan for their confidence, and reaffirmed his commitment to continue improving performance and strengthening readiness.
