Al-Mahra:
Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan in the governorate of Al-Mahra succeeded in detaining two individuals suspected of involvement in drug trafficking, at one of its security checkpoints in the town of Al‑Ghayda, after a kilogram of cannabis was found in their possession while they attempted to cross the checkpoint.
The operation is part of the ongoing security efforts undertaken by Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan to combat drug smuggling and trafficking, curb its spread, and enhance security and stability in the governorate.
The Command of Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan in Al-Mahra, led by Brigadier General Abdullah bin Sadeef Al‑Mahri, affirmed the continued security campaigns to pursue drug traffickers and smugglers, emphasizing that it will deal firmly with anyone who threatens community security and the safety of citizens, and will continue to fulfill its national duties in protecting the governorate and confronting this dangerous scourge.
