The President’s Supreme Leadership Council Chairman – Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces issued today Decree No. (57) of 2026, appointing Brigadier General Bassam Mahdar Ahmed Ali Al‑Sanabi as commander of Quwat Dira’ Al‑Watan, with his promotion to the rank of Major General.
The same Decree No. (57) of 2026 also provides for the appointment of Brigadier General Abdulrahman Saleh Hassan Al‑Lahji as Chief of Staff of Quwat Dira’ Al‑Watan, alongside his duties as commander of the Fourth Infantry Division, and his promotion to the rank of Major General.
