The Chief of Staff of Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan, Major General Abdulrahman Al-Lahji, together with a number of senior military leaders—including the General Commander’s Office Director, Colonel Ammar Baymin, Colonel Mohamed Al-Battani, Director of the Chief of Staff’s Office, and Brigadier General Saleh Al-Mujidi, commander of the First Brigade of the Third Division—and in the presence of several department directors of the General Command in the temporary capital Aden, offered prayers over the body of Lieutenant Colonel Faraj Tarsh Shuqair Al-Aghbari Al-Subayhi, who was martyred in an armed ambush in the Al‑Abr area of Hadramout Governorate.
The deceased’s body arrived at the General Command headquarters in Aden amid a military presence that reflected the high esteem for his sacrifice. After the prayers, the body was transferred to his hometown to complete burial rites in a solemn and dignified public farewell. Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan’s leadership expressed profound sorrow, praying that God may envelop the martyr in His vast mercy and grant swift recovery to the wounded, emphasizing that the heroes’ sacrifices will not be in vain and that the forces continue to fulfill their duty to protect the nation and safeguard its security and stability.
