Quwat Dira’ Al-Watan was established as a regular military force belonging to the state pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 18 of 2023 issued by His Excellency the President of the Supreme Command Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. These forces constitute a fundamental pillar for defending the homeland, safeguarding national achievements, and preserving stability and civil peace across the various governorates of the Republic.

A regular tactical military force formed at the highest levels of training and combat readiness, directly subordinate to the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces (President of the Presidential Leadership Council), and officially registered within the structure of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Yemen as a strategic regular reserve force.
Our national message
Safeguarding Yemen's national security and protecting the country's sovereignty and constitutional institutions, supporting and reinforcing the combat fronts against the Iranian‑backed Houthi coup militias, and securing the borders and vital outlets of the Yemeni state.

The Media Department of Quwat Dira' Al-Watan serves as the official spokesperson and primary media platform responsible for transmitting and broadcasting accurate, documented news about the forces, their various units, and their military and humanitarian operations. The department operates under a modern media vision that aligns with the latest developments in digital and traditional media, contributing to the enhancement of national awareness and the counter‑action against misleading campaigns and hostile rumors by delivering a sincere military media message.
Director of the Media Department: Dr. Samir Al‑Sarouri
A prominent Yemeni media professional and academic, holding a Ph.D. specializing in journalism and digital media, who has served as Director of Research at the Ministry of Information and as a political program presenter on major satellite channels. He oversees the development of the identity and media discourse of Quwat Dira' Al-Watan and trains military media personnel to meet the demands of the current stage.
